I’m so excited to share our latest event with you. If you follow me on Instagram you probably saw all the fun I posted from prep to the event details from our 2014 Handmade Nest event.
This time around, our event was held at The DenMar Estate in Mesa, AZ. It is a gorgeous facility perfect for not only our craft event, but for weddings and parties of all sizes.
All of our sponsors were so incredibly generous to our attendees and each gal who came walked away with a swag bag chock full of goodies.
See what we mean?! With scissors and tape runners from Scotch, wreaths from FloraCraft, fabric from Riley Blake, flair from The Glitter Revival, cookies from Lemon Bliss Bakery, a print from The Diary of Dave’s Wife, more goodies from Elmer’s, Consumer Crafts, Cricut, and Shop 24, plus a super adorable gold custom necklace handmade by me! Score!
An event wouldn’t be complete without an amazing dessert set up and the girls from Petite Party Studio knocked it out of the park again. With the giant balloons, fringe garland, and the sweetest prints, they created a gorgeous display that set a beautiful stage for the delicious treats.

Speaking of delicious treats, can we just stop for a second and chat about the cupcakes and cake pops shared by Inspired Sugar? The chocolate snickerdoodle cupcakes and red velvet cake pops were seriously amazing. The four of us at The Handmade Nest are still drooling over the yumminess!

We at The Handmade Nest pride ourselves on making sure that a good amount of our attendees walk away with some fantastic prizes. Our giveaway table was packed with prizes from so many of our sponsors and were a serious highlight of the night.
If you are an Arizona or Utah native, you *have* to look up Waffle Love. They were able to park their truck at The DenMar Estate while we were there and their waffles are mouth-watering, no joke! Look at how cute Kristi from Lolly Jane, and her amazing sister Sandee are!
Finally, let’s chat about why we were all really at The Handmade Nest: the crafts!
Women from all over Arizona (Tucson included!), were able to congregate and craft together — kid free, we might add — for a night. We at The Handmade Nest whole-heartedly believe that it’s important for women to get out and meet others with common interests, crafting in our case.
Plus, isn’t it refreshing to be able to go home at the end of the night with a completed project, ready for display in your home?
We want to thank every one of our attendees and sponsors for making our second Handmade Nest event such a success!

Hi Kelly. I’m sorry I don’t know of any in NY. If you are ever in AZ we’d love to have you come to one of ours! 🙂
