These cookies are so easy to make, and taste so good!
Today I’m sharing these M & M Oatmeal Cookies with you. There’s M & M’s in them, what more could you ask for! Let’s get started.
Ingredients:
– 1 1/3 Cup All Purpose Flour, leveled
– 1 Tsp. Baking Powder
– 1 Tsp. Baking Soda
– 1/4 Tsp. Salt
– 1 Cup Cooking Oats
– 3/4 Cup M & M’s
– 3/4 Cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
– 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, packed
– 1/2 Cup White Sugar
– 1/2 Cup Walnuts
– 1 Large Whole Egg, slightly beaten
– 1 Stick of Butter, melted slightly in microwave
– 1 Tsp. Vanilla
{Note: I used mini chocolate chips in my cookies pictured because that’s what I had on hand, which when mixing with warm hands melted them and turned by cookies a darker color than normal.}
Start by adding all your dry ingredients in to a large mixing bowl. Stir everything together. Next add your egg, butter, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix well. You may need to use your hands, go ahead get in there and mix!
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Next roll your cookie mix in to 1″ balls and place on either a greased cookie sheet or a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake for 6-8 minutes, keeping a close eye on them. You want them to still be soft and chewy. Remove from oven and place on a cooling rack, then eat!!!
{Use seasonal M & M’s to make the cookies extra special…for this batch I used the Fall colors.}
