Over the past couple of days I’ve shared some Easy Halloween Party Decor with you, like these Easy Halloween Cupcake Toppers & Wrappers and this Easy Halloween Art. There are still a few more ideas to share, like these Easy Halloween Party Favors.
Supplies:
– Cricut Explore cutting machine
– Cricut cutting mat
– black cardstock
– glittery gold cardstock
– white cardstock
– bamboo skewers
– gold sequins
– small paper favor bags
– glue gun & glue
– regular glue stick
I knew that I needed some quick and let’s face it super easy Halloween favors to go with all my other Halloween party decor. Once again I used what I had available in my craft stash to come up with two ideas. First of which were these cute masquerade masks. They are simple but go perfectly with the theme. I found the template in Cricut Design Space, it was easy to get them the correct size by measuring from the corner of one eye to the other. Then I hit GO and cut them out with the Explore.
I then found a cute web and spider image in Cricut Design Space made them to fit my masks, and hit GO. I then used a regular glue stick to apply the web and spider to the corner of each mask.
For the other masks I wanted them to be a little more masculine so I cut a really simple swirl pattern. After gluing the gold swirls on to the masks I used a white marker to add a little extra detailing.
Last step was to attach them to some bamboo skewers I spray painted gold and hot glued to the corner of each mask. They turned out pretty darn cute I think.
The other favor is this custom confetti. Who doesn’t love confetti?! If this doesn’t convince you to get yourself a Cricut Explore I don’t know what will. I’ve shown you that it can cut leather, and now teeny tiny details like confetti…are you convinced yet?
All I needed was some cardstock and a few images. The “BOO” and “EEK” were images I created in Design Space and welded together. The bats and spiders were images available in Design Space. Everything is about 1/2″ in size. Granted it does take a while to cut more detailed images, but it was so worth it.
Add some gold sequins and you are all set. Place everything in small paper favor bags and seal closed with either a cute stitch on your sewing machine or some awesome washi tape.
