It’s my most favorite time of the year, I love everything Christmas! Decorating might be my favorite part, having the house glow from soft lights and being filled with cheerful things makes it all so magical. This year I’m having some girlfriends over to see my new sofa so I thought it was only appropriate to get my Buffalo Check Holiday Mantel up a little early so that when they come over everything was all pretty.
With the help of Better Homes and Gardens and Walmart, I was able to find some great things to help fill this space with some magical touches. I started with the fireplace hearth, it’s a large space to fill and can sometimes be a challenge. I found these amazing Better Homes and Gardens Silver Honeycomb Hurricanes, they are perfect for filling with ornaments and the reflection of the silver honeycomb pattern is so pretty. I paired it with a mini Christmas tree and a cute White Resin Deer I found in the holiday decor at Walmart.
Let’s talk about these cute little Better Homes and Gardens Picturesque Home Metal Lanterns! They are so cute and the pop of red is just what I needed, I have to still grab some flameless candles for them. They’ll be so pretty lit up at night. You can find them in stores so hurry and grab a few before they are gone.
I couldn’t pass up adding another super cozy blanket to my collection, this gray Better Homes and Gardens Chenille Throw is so soft. You can never have too many throws!
Keeping the decor bold but simple really makes this decor pop. You might remember the Black & White Halloween Mantel Decor I posted last week, it featured a fun black and white Trick or Treat Yo Self sign I made. I decided to flip it over and create this cute black and white Christmas sign. I added my DIY Chalkboard and added some buffalo check wrapping paper to the inside of the frame to add a pop of color and pattern.
When adding red to your decor you don’t really need to add a lot, just adding small amounts make this space feel warm and so cheerful.
I also found this Faux Wood & Metal Deer Sign at Walmart in the holiday decor section, it’s exactly what I needed to pair with the other two larger pieces of art. This would be great in a Christmas gallery wall too.
Adding a few more pops of the silver metallics helped to complete the decor. I found this Rustic Corrugated Metal Tree with the deer sign. I love the mix of textures from the bottle brush trees, metals, and wood.
I thought I’d give you a sneak peek of my new sectional…it’s amazing and I’m so excited with how great the Better Homes and Gardens Faux Cut Fur Pillow looks on it with my Buffalo Check Christmas Pillow from last year.
The last touch was a little love for my coffee table to finish everything. I added another White Resin Deer along with some bottle brush trees and a delicious Better Homes and Gardens Candle, the Candied Caramel Pecan scent is so good! I love how this Buffalo Check Holiday Mantel turned out, so bright and cheerful.
