Have you seen the new Martha Stewart Crafts Jewelry line? I have and I’m in love! About a month ago I saw several bloggers receiving boxes full of the new line to play with and create. I’m not going to lie, I was totally jealous. So what’s a girl to do?! Write Martha Stewart Crafts directly of course. I received a quick response saying they’d love to send me something. I was blown away at not only the quick response, but the kindness I was shown by the company. They quickly sent me out a few of the new products to create with. Today I’m sharing the Sparrow Charm Bracelet I created first.
The new Martha Stewart Crafts Jewelry line includes 240 items for both avid jewelry crafters and beginners. These are the things I was sent to create with. The entire line consists of charms, cabachons, Czech glass beads, findings, enamel paints, jewelry glazes, epoxy clay for creating cabachons, and rhinestones. Can you take one guess what my favorite item is? Yep, those totally adorable little bird charms. I knew when I saw them in the store I wanted them. So I was thrilled to see them in the package.
I decided I would make a charm bracelet with the bird charms. I found some other findings and beads in my jewelry supplies and got to work.
Supplies:
– Martha Stewart Crafts Bird Charms
– Antique Brass Chain
– Antique Brass Lobster Claw Clasp
– Antique Brass Jump Rings
– Coordinating Beads
– Antique Brass Head Pins
– Jewelry Tools, chain nose pliers & wire cutters
I began by attaching the bird charms to the chain with jump rings. I spaced them out evenly across the chain for my bracelet first. I then created a ton of beaded charms by stringing beads on my head pins and attaching those to the bracelet with jump rings as well. I just basically filled in the space between each charm so it looked full, and was sure to evenly space out my colors. It’s really up to you how many you want to add or what color beads you want to put with it. I love the woodsy colors I chose to go with it, and the pop of the turquoise beads.
I love how it turned out. It’s the sweetest bracelet, and I’m in love with those little birds!
I want to say a huge thank you to Martha Stewart Crafts for being so kind and sending me these products. You can find all these amazing products at your local Michaels Craft Stores now. I encourage you to go and grab some things and start creating, you won’t be disappointed.
{This is not a paid sponsored post. I did receive product in exchange for a review of the product. All opinions and ideas are my own and original.}
