Are you looking for the perfect summer time treat for your party or bbq’s? Well these Almond Cream filled Strawberries are it! Fresh fruit filled with a delicious whipped cream filling, it’s a winning combination. These are sure to be a hit.
I found this recipe about a year and a half ago, unfortunately I don’t have the source. A huge thanks to the person who came up with this recipe though, it’s a favorite of ours.
Ingredients:
– Fresh Strawberries {cut ends off}
– 1 Package Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
– 3/4 Cup 1% or 2% Milk
– 3/4 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
– 1/2 Tsp. Almond Extract
1. In a mixing bowl pour 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream. Using a wisk or a mixer beat until stiff peaks are formed. Set aside.
2. In a separate mixing bowl combine 1 package vanilla instant pudding and 3/4 cup milk. Mix with a mixer on low for 2 minutes until thick.
3. Add the pudding mixture to your whipped cream and fold in using a small spatula. Combine well.
4. You can either place your cream mixture in to a serving bowl and dip berries in to it or you can use a pastry bag to fill your berries like I did. If you choose to fill the berries, cut an “x” in to each berry top being careful not to cut all the way through the berry. Then fill with whipped cream filling.
This almond cream is so good, it would be great on lots of other fruits. Enjoy!
