Fall officially begins on Sunday, unfortunately here in Arizona we still have a few more weeks of 100 degree temps. I thought I would make a treat that would help us get in the warm and cozy kind of mood, Samoa S’mores! Yep, that delicious cookie inspired by the same ones that sweet little girls sell you once a year smashed together with an ooey gooey marshmallow center! Heavenly!
Ingredients:
– Samoa style cookies {walmart has a version of the popular cookie}
– Large marshmallows
– Long skewers or roasting sticks
Gather around your favorite campfire spot, backyard fire pit, or if worse comes to worse and you want to roast marshmallows and can’t find a fire…use a sterno can! Hey when it comes to S’mores you’ve got to have a roasted marshmallow one way or another right?!
Just roast your marshmallow until you have achieved the desired amount of charring then smush it between two Samoa style cookies and enjoy! These are so good!
So next time your camping grab a bag of these cookies, you will thank me!
