If you were around the blog this past January you heard me talk about my need and desire to loose weight and get my health in order. I have struggled every single day since then to make positive food choices, it is not an easy battle my friends. Far too often life gets in the way or it’s just too easy to grab food on the go. Portions and good ingredients are two very important keys to a successful eating habit change, and that’s where I suffer most. So when I heard about the new Honestly Good meals that are 100% all natural, I had to give them a try. Today I’m making better choices with Lean Cuisine Honestly Good Meals.
I found the new Lean Cuisine Honestly Good meals at my local Target store. They offer six different options, all of them are 100% all natural! They are wholesome ingredients with a sauce packet in each meal that you can add yourself, which depending on my mood I can add a little or a lot. I started with three options, knowing I’d be back to try the rest.
My favorite was the Honey Citrus Chicken. Grilled chicken, broccoli & yellow squash {mine was missing the squash}, with whole grain pasta. The pasta had spinach, slivered almonds, and sun-dried tomatoes. Top it all with the delicious honey citrus glaze and it’s wonderful.
I also loved the Pomegranate Chicken. Grilled chicken, a side of green & yellow beans, carrots, and whole grain pilaf with currants. Let’s not forget the beautiful pomegranate glaze.
I can’t forget the Pineapple Black Pepper Beef. Tender cuts of beef, and I mean tender! Served with a side of green & wax beans, orange & yellow carrots. Add a bit of brown & wild rice with bits of pineapple and almonds, yum. Then top it with the pineapple black pepper sauce.
These Honestly Good meals are Honestly so good! I’ve eaten my share of frozen entrees, these are actually the first that have kept me full. The portions are perfect, you feel satisfied and the quality of the ingredients makes it even better. I was so impressed with these meals, these will be a great thing to have in the house when I’m busy. Trying to make healthier food choices isn’t always easy, especially when it comes to good ingredients and proper portions…but Lean Cuisine has really helped with both of those issues.
Here are all the options to try:
– Pineapple Black Pepper Beef
– Honey Citrus Chicken
– Lemongrass Salmon
– Plum Ginger Grain Crusted Fish
– Pomegranate Chicken
– Roasted Red Pepper Chicken
So next time your at Target shopping make a stop by the frozen food isle and pick up something Honestly Good! You won’t be disappointed. You also won’t be disappointed to know that together with farmers they’re donating a portion of veggies grown for the Honestly Good meals to local communities. Just another reason to taste how Honestly Good they are!

Thanks for this info I usually hate frozen dinners, but you made this sound so good. Any idea on the sodium content of these? My husband needs to watch his salt intake.
Rebecca Lopez says
@Hildy Schwarz – The meals I featured and tried were between 450 – 500 mg of sodium. 🙂
