I’m a serious iced tea drinker. I have always love it, I actually drink it all day long most days. Today I’m sharing these Summer Iced Tea – 4 Easy Recipes with you, these are a few of my favorite ways to sip this refreshing Summer drink.
With as much iced tea as I drink I sometimes have to wait for it to brew, which when you are craving something can feel like forever! I love that I can put my Keurig brewer to good use and get fresh iced tea whenever I want with just a push of the button. Lipton is my preferred brand of iced teas, so when I heard Lipton Teas make 5 great flavors of iced tea k-cups that are all ready in minutes I was super excited. The hard part is picking which flavor.
These 4 Easy recipes are perfect for Summer, they would also be great for any parties you’re hosting. You could use your Keurig brewer and Lipton Teas K-Cups to create a fun Iced Tea bar for guests. Let them create their own drinks.
ORANGE LEMONADE ICED TEA
Start by making an Orange Simple Syrup by combining 1 cup orange juice, and 1 cup sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and cool completely.
Brew Lipton’s Iced Tea Lemonade in your Keurig brewer in to a glass full of ice. Add 1/8 cup of the orange simple syrup, and a couple of orange wedges. Garnish with lemon and orange wedges. Before drinking be sure to mix your drink since the simple syrup will settle to the bottom of the glass.
In your glass place 3 large mint leaves, using the back-end of a wooden spoon muddle your mint leaves to release the extract.
Brew Lipton’s Refresh Iced Sweet Tea in your Keurig brewer into a glass full of ice and the muddled mint leaves. Add 1 tb of lime juice, and a couple small lemon wedges. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig, and a lemon wedge.
Start by making a Mango Simple Syrup by combining 1 cup water, and 1 cup sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat until sugar is dissolved, remove from heat and cool completely. Combine simple syrup and 1 mango peeled and diced in a blender and blend until smooth.
Brew Lipton’s Classic Unsweetened Iced Tea in your Keurig brewer into a glass full of ice. Add 1/8 cup of the mango simple syrup and mix well. Garnish with fresh mango. If you don’t wish to make a simple syrup you can also purchase a Torani Mango Syrup and achieve a wonderful mango iced tea by adding 1-2 pumps to your brewed iced tea.
Fill an empty ice-cube tray with fresh blackberries, 2 per cube should fit nicely. Fill with water and freeze overnight.
Start by making a Blackberry Simple Syrup by combining 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 1 1/2 cups of blackberries . Bring to a boil over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and berries are tender (15-20 minutes), remove from heat and cool completely. Strain in to a separate container being sure to squeeze any excess juice from the blackberries.
Brew Lipton’s Classic Unsweetened Iced Tea in your Keurig brewer into a glass full of the blackberry ice cubes. Add 1/8 cup of the blackberry simple syrup and mix well. Garnish with lemon. If you don’t wish to make a simple syrup you can also purchase a Torani Blackberry Syrup and achieve a wonderful blackberry iced tea by adding 1-2 pumps to your brewed iced tea.
