My two handsome guys started back to school this past week, it was bittersweet to have summer break over but I know they are super excited to be back in school. Each year I have documented the first and last days of school with a photo and a sign. This year I thought it would be fun to share the signs I made with all of you. I hope you enjoy these Free Printable Back to School Signs.
I created a sign for each grade, from pre-school to high school.
To print the signs you want all you need to do is DOWNLOAD them HERE. Click on the image you want and in the lower right corner hit download.
Open the image up in a program like Word or Publisher and fit them to an 8.5 x 11″ piece of paper/cardstock.
I also created the Free Printable Last Day of School Signs as well. I love seeing my boys on the first day of school and the last day of school, comparing how much they’ve grown. It always amazes me.

I hope you enjoy all those cute first and last day pictures of your cuties. They really do grow up so fast and this is a great way to document such fun days in their lives.

i love these signs!
I was just wondering how i get them to come up in my word?
i downloaded them and it only wants to pull up in my picture viewer…
I copied the pic after downloading and i pasted in word also and it looks great when you look at the final product before printing but when i printed it, the image was way to big for the 8.5 x 11 cardstock paper.
any suggestions ?
TIA =)

Hi Chasity. When I download the file I usually open it from the download folder or pictures folder (wherever you’ve saved it to), it should pop up in a preview window for pictures. Then I right click on the image, hit copy and then open Publisher or Word and I paste it. I usually have to resize it to fit an 8.5 x 11″ piece of paper with 0.5″ margins. You should be able to resize it easily by clicking on the image and dragging the corners to the size you want. Let me know if you are still having issues, but I hope that helps. Have a great week.

I can not get these to download unfortunately. They are so cute, and I really want to use them!

Hi Dena, so sorry about that. Are you clicking this link to download? https://www.dropbox.com/sh/q15m5itszkfuicz/AADaZLsTDap5US-CGEmwpI3Ya
Once you’re there in dropbox you need to select the grade you’d like to print. When the screen pops up with the printable image there is a download button on the top right corner, sometimes it takes a second to appear. This should download to your computer when clicked. Let me know if you’re still having issues, this is the first time I’ve heard this.
