I hope you’ve been enjoying all the Easy Halloween Party Decor Ideas I’ve been sharing with you, I still have two more things to show you. These Easy Halloween Treat Boxes are one of them. I love that I can make these cute boxes any time I want with my Cricut Explore.
Supplies:
– Cricut Explore cutting machine
– Cricut cutting mat
– Cricut scoring tool
– black & white glittered polka dot cardstock (found at Michaels)
– tape runner
Technically these cute treat boxes are popcorn boxes, but they are so darn cute filled with so many things. Best part about being able to make them myself is that I can create any custom size I want with my machine.
I found the template in Cricut Design Space, and just re-sized them to fit the look I was going for. For these particular boxes I sized them at 5″ H x 9.4″ W. Which meant I was able to get two boxes per 12 x 12″ piece of cardstock.
This project requires the Cricut scoring tool, which is awesome and totally makes these projects so much easier to put together. Once the machine had scored and cut the boxes I was ready to assemble them which literally took seconds per box. Just follow the scoring lines to fold the box in to shape, I then used a tape runner to close the boxes on the long side and at the bottom flap.
So cute right? That polka dot cardstock was perfect for this Halloween decor. I filled the treat boxes with some gold wrapped rollo candy.
P.S. That paper chain in the background, also cut with the Cricut Explore which made it such a breeze to make.
