Easy Halloween Decor

Who doesn’t love a quick and easy project, especially when it’s a holiday project! When it comes to holiday decorating I love mixing things up from year to year, which means that I usually create new projects each year. It’s important to me to create decor that doesn’t break the budget but fits in with whatever theme I am working with that year. Today I’m showing you how easy it is to create Easy Halloween Decor with the Minc foiling machine.

Supplies:

MINC Foil Applicator
MINC Transfer Folder (the plastic sleeve that comes with the machine)
MINC Jumbo Alphas
MINC Foil
Picture frame
Twine or String

I love that Heidi Swapp has created so many options for the Minc foiling machine, making it easy to create fun foiled projects in just minutes. I happened to have the Minc Jumbo Alphas on hand, they are perfect for banners. They are about 6″ in size, perfect for creating a statement piece.

I chose to use the Rose Gold foil for this project, I love that it looks a little like copper – perfect for fall.

Using the jumbo alphabet letters, cover them with your choice of foil and place them inside the clear folder. Place in the Minc applicator.

I had a fun frame lying around that was the perfect size for this project. I attached some black twine to the back of the frame and use these cute little clothespins to attach the letters.

This is probably the easiest holiday project you will ever make! Like I said, you can create a fun banner with Halloween themed sayings or a few different frames with sayings like the one I did “BOO” or even “EEK”.

If you don’t want to purchase the jumbo alphabet letters you can create your own with your lazer printer. If you don’t have a lazer printer you can have something you design printed at your local copy shop. If you own a cutting machine that makes it even better, you can cut them with your machine! So many options.
