I can’t believe how incredibly fast this month has flown by, I can’t believe Christmas is just a couple days away. I still have one final spot in my holiday decor to share with you and that’s my Black & White Simple Snowflake Christmas Entry Decor. When I say simple, I mean simple…nothing overdone here and nothing too fancy.
Our entryway is small and tight, but since it’s part of our front formal living space which if you remember is actually my studio there’s just enough space to put an entry table. I knew that I wanted to have a little more modern feel to the decor, I loved the huge Farm Fresh Trees sign that Sincerely Us Shop sent me last year. I used it last year on my Leather & Flannel Christmas Mantel, and because of how big it is I knew it would be great in the entryway. This meant my Black & White Gallery Wall needed to come down, and this time it came down for good. I know, I know…so many of you loved this gallery wall and I did too, but it’s time for some change around here so something new will be coming with the new year.
Along with the huge farm fresh trees sign, I added one of my favorite giant pom-pom garlands from Hobby Lobby. It totally reminds me of snowballs, I just draped it over the sign. This garland would be super easy to replicate if you can’t find one to purchase. Next year I might actually make something similar for my tree.
To carry the modern snowflake theme from my Black & White Modern Snowflake Christmas Tree Decor I added this large wood snowflake I found at Homegoods, I was lucky enough to find a larger one as well that is in my hallway too. The mini faux Christmas tree is also from Homegoods. I saw this tree and loved it immediately but didn’t end up buying it. Then when I was home and trying to finish this space it’s all I could think about so I went back and luckily it was still there. It was the perfect tree for this spot, especially with the added wood bead garland.
Another great Homegoods find was the quartz PEACE sign, it’s so heavy you guys! Homegoods was so good to me this year with some great holiday decor finds. I knew this sign would be great with my decor from year to year and it had the modern straight font I love.
I paired it with another mini faux tree from Target’s dollar spot last year that I just put inside a tin can I spray painted gold and a large vase filled with giant white jingle bells. The jingle bells were a Dollar Tree find, they originally had some pine branches on the top since they were ornaments but I just took all that off. Dollar stores a great place to find some inexpensive holiday decor.
I had to add just a couple bottle brush trees to the mix, especially the gold one to carry the touches of gold from my mantel decor and tree decor. Somehow my bottle brush tree stash doubled this year and I don’t have nearly enough places to put them. Next years goal is to find a place for ALL of them!
The last thing that this spot needed was to pull some hints of leather to make all the holiday decor cohesive. So I added some of my faux leather tassels to the fronts of the entry table drawers.
This Black & White Simple Snowflake Christmas Entry Decor feels clean and inviting and I love how it turned out. The mix of wood tones, deep green, metallics, and leather made for a great combination.
Don’t forget to check out my other holiday decor from this year…
